I enjoy tutoring because it allows me the opportunity to help students move past their struggles to achieve academic success. Many of my students start out embarrassed that they are experiencing struggles, and are often afraid to voice their difficulties in the classroom. Spending time with a tutor allows the student to voice their struggles in a non-judgmental environment. One of the great joys of being a tutor is seeing a student work hard through the coursework and experience significant improvement in their test scores and course grades. The excitement in my student's eyes is a motivating factor for me.While attending Northwestern University and NYITCOM, I began tutoring fellow students in Chinese, Organic Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. I expanded my tutoring services to include elementary students where I helped them master the techniques and methods of various Math subjects. I enjoy tutoring many subjects, including Algebra, Biology, Chemistry, Writing, Chinese, and Test Preparation.When I'm not helping students, I enjoy rock climbing, going for a long run, improving my photography skills, or drawing.
