I have tutored privately and through several tutoring agencies on Long Island as well as through school districts I have worked for. I have certifications in English, Social Studies and Theater. I have taught both ELA and Social Studies from the 7th grade to 12th grade levels. I work very well with at risk populations and enjoy getting to know my students on a personal level. As a college student I spent a year and a half living in Taiwan studying Mandarin and Chinese Culture. I became interested in Chinese culture through my martial arts classes. I've worked professionally as an actor in film, television and Theater both in NYC and on Long Island.
