Education
I am a NYS certified Elementary School Teacher (1-6). I received my Associates in Arts in Childhood Education at Nassau Community College. I received my BS in Childhood Education with a concentration in Multicultural Literature at SUNY College at Old Westbury. I graduated with a GPA in my major of 3.7 and my overall was 3.48. I obtained Dean's List every semester. I will be attending Hofstra University in the fall of 2015 for my graduate degree in TESOL.
Experience
I tutored grades pre-k through 12 at a Kumon Learning Center. I passed all of my teaching certification workshops and NYS mandated exams. I want to be a tutor to instill confidence and ease in students in areas where they are struggling. I have also been a babysitter for 8 years. I have been an equestrian for 17 years. Both of these activities require patience, care, and dedication.
