My strength as a tutor comes from my extensive teaching experiences and my commitment to learning as a lifelong endeavor. I believe that teaching my students study skills tailored to their specific learning style is vital to building their confidence and instilling a lifetime love of education. My own educational background includes my undergraduate and graduate studies at Adelphi University, where I graduated with a Master of Secondary Education and a teaching certificate in social studies. I have experience working closely with high school and college students, who came from diverse backgrounds and had a wide range of skills. As a tutor, I can offer my students assistance in American history, European history, geography, AP Comparative Government and Politics, AP United States History, IB Geography HL, IB Geography SL, IB Global Politics HL, IB Global Politics SL, IB History HL, IB History SL, IB World Religions SL, AP United States Government and Politics, AP Human Geography, religious studies, and other social studies classes. I'm also glad to offer help via email outside of scheduled hours. In my spare time, I love painting, hiking, cooking, exercising, reading, spending time with animals, and anything to do with baseball.
